Working on the deli photoshoot for Walmart’s new Caribbean offerings was both creatively inspiring and personally enriching. The project went beyond simply capturing appetizing food imagery—it became a cultural learning experience. I had the opportunity to immerse myself in flavors, dishes, and culinary traditions I hadn’t been exposed to before. From vibrant spices and bold color palettes to unique preparation styles, every detail informed how we approached the visual storytelling.

Our goal was to honor the authenticity of the cuisine while making it approachable and enticing for a broad customer base. Through thoughtful styling, lighting, and composition, we showcased the richness and personality of each dish—highlighting textures, freshness, and cultural roots. The result was a collection of beautiful, inviting images that not only supported the product launch but also celebrated the diversity behind it. It was a powerful reminder that great design and photography can bridge cultures and introduce people to something new.
